2011 Adult returns
Common property harvest: Salmon caught in commercial and sport fisheries. Producing salmon for harvest in these fisheries is the primary mission of the hatchery.
Cost recovery harvest: Salmon that return to Port Armstrong and are harvested to pay for hatchery expenses.
Broodstock: Salmon that are used by the hatchery to spawn the next generation of Port Armstrong salmon.
Other: Salmon that return to Port Armstrong but aren’t harvested or used for broodstock. These are usually fish eaten by bears, sea lions, etc.
